Here’s What You Need to Know About Socialism

The Communist Manifesto (Illustrated) by [Marx, Karl, Engels, Friedrich]

Socialism is a materialistic philosophy of government. And it has failed every time it’s been tried. It has caused the deaths of over a hundred million people. And the best way to understand it is through the words of the men who invented it and the Communist dictators who tried to make it work and failed.

Karl Marx, Founder of Socialism and Communism:

“The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property.”    – Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, The Communist Manifesto

“My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.”

“Take away a nation’s heritage and the people are easily persuaded.”

“The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.”

“Religion is the opium of the people.”

Vladimir Lenin, Russian Communist Dictator and Mass-Murderer:

“The goal of socialism is communism.”

“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.”

“The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.”

“While the State exists there can be no freedom; where there is freedom there will be no state.”

“Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.”

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”

Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda for Hitler’s National Socialist Party, the Nazis:

“It is the absolute right of the government to supervise the formation of public opinion.”

“Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.”

“Not every item of news should be published. Rather must those who control news policies endeavor to make every item of news serve a certain purpose.”

“The most brilliant propagandist techniques will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

“It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a square is in fact a circle. They are mere words, and words can be molded until they clothe ideas and disguise.”

“Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated are confident they are acting on their own free will.”

“The essence of propaganda consists in winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never escape from it.”

“To be a socialist is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole.”

“As socialists, we are opponents of the Jews, because we see in the Hebrews the incarnation of capitalism, of the misuse of the nation’s goods.”

“What does Christianity mean today? National Socialism is a religion. All we lack is a religious genius capable of uprooting outmoded religious practices and putting new ones in their place. We lack traditions and ritual. One day soon National Socialism will be the religion of all Germans. My party is my church, and I believe I serve the Lord best if I do his will, and liberate my oppressed people from the fetters of slavery. That is my gospel.”

“The war we are fighting until victory or the bitter end is in its deepest sense a war between Christ and Marx. Christ: The principle of love. Marx: The principle of hate.”

“Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the target for hatred.”

“Whoever can conquer the street will one day conquer the state, for every form of power politics and any dictatorship-run state has its roots in the street.”

Adolph Hitler, German Socialist Dictator, and Mass-Murderer:

“What good fortune for governments that the people do not think.”

“He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”

“The day of individual happiness has passed.”

Joseph Stalin, Russian Communist Dictator and Mass-Murderer:

“The press must grow day in and day out – it is our Party’s sharpest and most powerful weapon.”

“Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”

“Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.”

“By May 1, 1937, there should not be one single church left within the borders of Soviet Russia, and the idea of God will have been banished from the Soviet Union as a remnant of the Middle Ages, which has been used for the purpose of oppressing the working classes.”

“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.”

“How to make everyone in your country happy? Kill everyone that is unhappy.”

“Death solves all problems – no man, no problem.”

“[After Communism succeeds] . . . then, there will come a peace across the earth.”

“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: Its patriotism, its morality and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.”

“Divide the world into regional groups as a transitional stage to world government. Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalty to a vague regional loyalty than they will for a world authority. Later the regions can be brought together all the way into a single world dictatorship.”

Mao Tse Tung, Chinese Communist Dictator and Mass-Murderer:

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”

“When there is not enough to eat, people starve to death. It is better to let half of the people die so that the other half can eat their fill.”

“A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery. It cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.”

Nikita Krushev, Russian Communist Dictator

“Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; WE’LL SO WEAKEN YOUR ECONOMY, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”

Norman M. Thomas, Presidential Candidate for the American Socialist Party

“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism, but under the name Liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program until America will one day be a Socialist nation without knowing how it happened.”

Antonio Gramsci, Neo-Marxist Founder of the Italian Communist Party

“Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. . . . In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society.”

“What comes to pass does so, not so much because a few people want it to happen, as because the mass of citizens abdicate their responsibility and let things be.”

Saul Alinsky, Neo-Marxist Community Organizer:

Alinsky’s goal was to eliminate Christianity in America and to replace it with Communism. His most famous disciples are Barrack Obama and Hilliary Clinton. He put this inscription on the front page of his book, Rules for Radicals:

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

John Dewey, Marxist, Progressive Educator

“There is no god and there is no soul. Hence, there is no need for the props of traditional religion. With dogma and creed excluded, the immutable truth is dead and buried. There is no room for fixed or natural law or permanent moral absolutes.”

“Schools should take an active part in directing social change, and share in the construction of a new social order.”

“That which distinguishes the Soviet system both from other national systems and from the progressive schools of other countries is the conscious control of every educational procedure by reference to a single and comprehensive social purpose.”

“Children who know how to think for themselves spoil the harmony of the collective society which is coming where everyone is interdependent.”

Independent self-reliant people would be a counterproductive anachronism in the collective society of the future where people will be defined by their associations.”
