Larry Vaughn

Hi, I’m Larry Vaughn — a husband, father, grandfather, and storyteller with a heart for faith, freedom, and the timeless truths that shaped America. For years, I’ve been inspired to share messages that encourage and uplift, and that’s what led me to write three Christian nonfiction books.

My newest book, The Good, The Bad, & The Hope We Have, is especially close to my heart. It’s a collection of powerful quotes and reflections meant to remind us who we are as a nation and where our true hope lies. You can order it from Amazon here:

My wife, Marie, and I have been married for fifty-eight wonderful years, and we enjoy the quiet beauty of life together on our farm in Tennessee. Thank you for stopping by — I hope my words bless and encourage you.

How This Collection Began & Where It Led Hi Friend,The Quote Collector

Hi Friend,

The Quote Collector didn’t begin as a website or an email list.

It began with a habit.

Years ago, I started writing down quotes that stopped me in my tracks — words that clarified something I’d felt but couldn’t articulate. Over time, those notes turned into stacks. Then folders. Then patterns.

Some quotes will challenge you....

Larry Vaughn’s *The Good, The Bad, & The Hope We Have* does something quietly radical: it treats ideas as living forces with moral weight, not as neutral opinions to be sampled and discarded. This is not a quotation book meant for casual inspiration; it is a curated reckoning. Vaughn approaches words the way an archaeologist approaches artifacts—carefully lifted, context preserved, and placed where their meaning can still...
